JUSTICE RIZZI delivered the opinion of the court: Defendant, Humberto Medrano, was found guilty of attempt to commit first degree murder (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1989, ch. 38, pars. 8-4, 9-1), and armed violence (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1989, ch. 38, par. 33A-2), and sentenced to 24 years imprisonment for the attempted murder. We affirm.
